SYDNEY – Two Australian teenagers who found almost 100,000 Australian dollars ($87,000) in cash during a fishing trip have handed it over to police _ after spending some time thinking about it.

The pair discovered the money earlier this month near the New South Wales town of Nimbin _ a center of hippie culture where members of numerous communes annually celebrate a festival to promote cannabis use.

The teenagers contacted police on Friday, after revealing the find to an unidentified adult they know and getting some legal advice, police said in a statement.

Inspector Greg Moore said police were investigating whose money it might be, and whether the stash of cash was linked to crime. "It could be proceeds of ill-gotten gains," Moore told the Australian Broadcasting Corp. on Monday.

Police had searched an area at Tuntable Creek where the teenagers found the money, but found no more cash and no clues, he said.

He said the teenagers, who were not identified, might be able to claim the money if no one else comes forward with a legitimate claim.

I hate my mother 4ever whenever she is unhappy during work-time and vent her anger on us.Now even my brother whom would not quarrel with my mother.I just wish that in my next life i could just have a peaceful family and live on till i die...

Aces Day dance

I felt shock when I heard that we are going to dance at Aces Day. At first, we didn’t know how to dance as the dance steps was to complicated and some of us didn’t want to dance.

After a few days of practice, we learnt how to dance already!!! Our form teacher madam rosza said if we win the whole secondary1 class, she would treat us pizza!!!

On Aces Day, We were all very excited and nervous as it was the first time we dance in front of so many people. We were all shock as we are the second class to perform infront of the whole secondary1. We tried our best and when we finish dancing we watch other class perform their dance and they were great. We thought we couldn’t win. But when they announce that we are the winner, we were shock. My ear was going to burst when my class scream n shout. 2 of my classmate even cried as they think that we will not win first prize for the overall secondary1 champion. Some of the boys was not happy that we win as they didn’t wan to dance anymore. When we went to the hall we were told that we were going to dance at the hall!! And my mind was like ‘Oh my god!! Does that mean we have to dance again?!’ We went on stage and dance many people were supporting us. When we had dance finish we watch the secondary2 overall winner and secondary3 overall winner too… And we lose to them we got 3^rd. Most of us were very sad that we lost. But some of the teacher thought that we could won the first prize too?! But our form teacher promise to treat us pizza soon!!I m looking 4ward for that day!!>_<
